Dear All, 

We, as friends, would like to invite all you, friends, families and people full of empathy to support a fundraiser in which the  most important thing is the well-being of Daisy- our friends dog, who was harmed by a 2.5-year-old child for whom, unfortunately, " parents cannot be responsible" as they themeselves mentioned. Our friends had only two solutions, to decide quickly on a very expensive surgery because the swelling of the spine was increasing and the chances of walking were decreasing, or to put the dog to sleep, none of us - friends/family who witnessed the incident - would allow the second option. Let's open our hearts!

Daisies spine was damaged, the cost of the surgery our friends are struggling with is £9,000, £1,000 was covered by the insurance they have Daisy, so there is still £8,000 left. Daisy has never had any health problems before, which is confirmed by the history of the medical records from the vet. Daisy had a accident because of the child due to the parents lack of attention,jumped on Daisies back, which caused a break that damaged the spine. Daisy was in another room ( the kitchen ) in her cage to which the boy opened unsupervised by his parents, despite repeatedly being told to not do that, not only for the safety of dog but also the little  boy for whom his parents should be responsible. 

Everyone who has an animal knows that it is a member of the family and we treat it as such as it is human  with feeling, a beating heart, which is currently fighting for a better tomorrow! Daisy is already after surgery, but unfortunately we don't know when or if she will start walking at all, they have to undergo rehabilitation and check-ups at the vet which is expensive.
